Setting personal challenges and chasing after them is one of the most fulfilling aspects of life. Whether or not you cross the finish line, the willingness and the drive to succeed has a more lasting impact on your life than success ever could.
At the Tenge Law Firm, LLC, we believe the struggle up the mountain is just as important as reaching the top. We value the strength it takes to push yourself to new heights, especially in students. To help you on your academic journey, we are proud to offer one high school senior or college student the opportunity to win our 2020 Your Time to Climb Scholarship!
From Alaska to California to Colorado, J. Todd Tenge has set numerous personal and professional goals throughout his life. Through all of this, he learned the importance of self-determination and that some lessons only come from experience. And now we want to hear about your experiences and the lessons you have learned when you pushed yourself to achieve a goal.
The Your Time to Climb Scholarship is a one-time $1,000 scholarship for high school seniors on track to graduate as well as students in two or four-year colleges. This scholarship will go towards your college expenses and help further your dreams. The deadline to submit your application is April 28, 2020. After reviewing your applications and essays, we will announce the finalists on May 12, 2020, and may reach out to them for more information. Finally, we will reveal the winner of the Your Time to Climb Scholarship on May 26, 2020!
For further information about the requirements and how to apply, please refer to our scholarship page. All applicants will need to submit a short essay about a personal struggle or goal they tried to achieve.
In 500-1,000 words, tell us about a personal goal that you pushed yourself to reach, whether it was a competition you competed in, a team you wanted to join, or a skill you tried to master. We’re interested in what made this goal special to you and how you challenged yourself to pursue it, even when you thought you couldn’t.
Even if you didn’t get first place in a spelling bee or become captain of the lacrosse team, the fact that you made the effort and strove for something you wanted is what interests us. Share with us how you grew from this experience and how it has become a source of personal inspiration.
We wish the best of luck to all applicants and cannot wait to hear the stories you have to tell. Keep an eye on our blog and Facebook for further announcements, and don’t forget to share this with your classmates!
