Just a few weeks ago, we at the Tenge Law Firm, LLC introduced our incredible seven finalists for our 2020 Your Time to Climb Scholarship. One of those finalists had to be our winner and receive a $1,000 scholarship, but who would it be? It wasn’t an easy decision, and many of us had some late nights re-reading essays to make sure we chose the best one. But after weeks of debate, we are finally ready to announce our winner.
Please join us in congratulating:
- Zach P. of Fort Collins, CO
Zach, your essay truly touched us. So many people are told they are lesser than simply because they were born with a disability. But you know, and so do we, that that couldn’t be further from the truth. You showed true passion and dedication in your determination to pursue a career in space exploration, and we are sure your name will be everywhere in the news one day.
We invite everyone to read Zach’s essay and see for yourself why we felt he deserved $1,000 to further his academic studies.
Thank you to every student who applied, especially our six other finalists. You did not win, but your essays still showed heart, perseverance, and a love of education. Taking on the challenges that you told us about is difficult, even frightening. But you fought and found yourself on the other side, victorious. We hope this loss will not lead you to give up on your dreams. Rather, it should push you to keep up the hard work and take that next step, no matter how hard it may be.
If you are a student again next year, we encourage you all to apply in 2021. For further updates on our scholarships, as well as news about our firm, be sure to check up on our blog as well as our Facebook page. Congratulations Zach, and another thank you to everyone who participated in this scholarship. We at The Tenge Law Firm, LLC cannot wait to see what your futures have in store!
